THE BESTEST BOY LINCOLN

OUR FIRST ADOPTION! THE BOY WHO STARTED IT ALL!

In late 2016, Lincoln was rescued by The Morongo Basin Humane Society in Joshua Tree, Ca after being found wandering in the desert with scars covering his body that showed signs of abuse. Lincoln was at the shelter for over a year before he was adopted by a man, but sadly was then returned a couple of months later when the man said he was moving and wouldn’t take Lincoln with him. After Lincoln returned his demeanor had changed and he seemed more fearful and stressed, which didn’t show well to the public looking to adopt. It was obvious Lincoln needed some help as he began to decline in the shelter environment. In 2018 volunteers raised money for him to get the help he needed by sending Lincoln for training in Los Angeles, with RTR Training Consultant Stef DiOrio as his main guide.

Lincoln would do best in a home with another medium sized playful and respectful dog. He would also do great as a single companion dog. Either way he’s always ready to partay!
